Baby and Mother's day card and bag

Here is a baby card I made.  This was made using the Taylored Expressions die Baby.  I really like the way it turned out. 

The next project was the famous bag in a box for Mother's day.  This is a cute way to make a bag with a box bottom.

 Next I made a Mother's day card for my my Mother-in-law.  I love how the pig and elephant are peeking over the edge of the window.

Hello again

Well I am back from a long summer that was busy with making wedding invitations and baby diaper cakes.  On Memorial Day weekend I broke my hand and this really put me at a disadvantage to get things done.  I will try to get caught up on some of the things I worked on since March.

Here are the cards I made for my first wedding.  These were created by me and the groom.  Yes you read that right the groom and I worked on these and he did a great job.  I found the drop down box idea and he loved it and so this is what we came up with.

 

Diaper Cake for Baby Shower

I made my first diaper cake.  It was so much fun.  It was for my nephew and his wife, Dusty and Jenny.  I added the little fire dog in memory of my brother and Dusty's Uncle Don.

It has been a crazy week at night.  I have made a blanket, embroidered a scarf, re sewn the edges of a 31 bag and made a few cards.  I have had a great week of crafting.  Here is the scarf I made for a friends mom.  She wanted 3 O's in the color of three different colleges and then I added the letters of the school on the inside.  It worked out that they all were schools that started with an O.  Ohio State University, Ohio University and Ohio Northern University.  I think it turned out good.

I made a Peak-A-Boo card tonight.  You see a picture in the frame on the front of the card and when you open the card you get another picture in the frame.  I have the front and inside of the card and then a picture of the card as you are opening to show how the peak-a-boo is working.

My first try at a Magic card.  It was so much fun to make.  I am showing how the card looks at the beginning where the flower is a red outline.  Then as you pull it up you can start to see where the card is changing from red to a colored flower.  This was also my first card using washi tape and my bling flowers from Queen and Company.  The stamp is a Stamps of Life monthly set.

Birthday card for Anna.  We will miss her in our office, but she is on to a job in her degree.

Here is a Valentine card I made for a friend who wanted a Sugar Skull with a girly look.  I think it turned out real nice.

 This is a box card and it was so much fun to make.

 The hearts on this card remind me of the candy hearts with little sayings.
